Requirements :

  • A National Diploma (NQF 6) / Degree (NQF 7) or equivalent qualification in Human Resources Management/Social Science/Industrial Psychology or related field as recognised by SAQA. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resource Planning. A valid driver’s license.

    COMPETENCIES: KNOWLEDGE- Knowledge of the Public Service Regulatory Framework. Knowledge of Basic Conditions of Employment Act. Knowledge of human resource management. SKILLS- Technical report writing. Problem solving and analysis. Decision making. Teamwork. Creativity. Analytical. Self-management. Communication and Computer skills. Planning and organising skills.

Duties :

  • Assist in sending the reporting templates to the relevant directorates. Assist in consolidating the submitted reports. Assist in follow up on POE’s if required. Assist in submitting the consolidated reports to senior managers for signatures. Assist by liaising with M&E directorate on all submitted HR reports to ensure compliance. Liaise with sub-directorates regarding inputs related to the Annual HR Oversight Report. Consolidate inputs received from the sub-directorates. Arrange meetings with managers to discuss inputs. Consolidate information provided by sub-directorates. Ensure the Operational Plan is signed before submitting to M&E. Collect of data as per the prescribed templates. Compile information requested by Auditors. Ensure that queries are responded within the time frame and signed before submitting to auditors. Send reminders and follow ups on outstanding information. Assist with typing of submissions, letters and memorandums within the sub-directorate. Assist with logistical arrangements such procuring of goods and services. Arrange venue for meetings and workshops. Maintain the filing system for easy retrieval of records.
