Requirements :

  • A National Diploma (NQF 6) / Degree (NQF 7) in Human Resources Management or an equivalent qualification as recognised by SAQA or related qualification. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in HR Information, Introduction to PERSAL certificate. A valid drivers license.

Duties :

  • Administer the processing of transactions with regards to HR Planning issues (organization and establishment). Administer processing of transactions with regard to salary and personnel Administration functions. Cleaning of exceptions on the system. Maintenance of PERSAL database as well as source documents. Ensure correct placement of employees in terms of placing them under the correct component, post classification, job title, salary level, occupational class, and correct pay point. Administer and align pay points descriptions according to the approved structure. Prepare costing of filled and vacant posts in the Department for permanent, fixed and contract workers. Physical headcount for the entire department. Readily available and accurate statistics on SMS Members as per component, gender, race, age, level and contact details. Manage training and development of personnel according to agreed training and development of personnel according to agreed training interventions. Manage the provision of equipment required by personnel for achievement of outputs in their respective Job Descriptions. Provide regular verbal and written feedback [aligned to quarterly performance assessments] to personnel on performance. Mentor and coach personnel. Update the service delivery and work plan. Provide sufficient guidance to personnel in terms of the service delivery plan, work plans, core business.
