Requirements :

  • A National Diploma at NQF (Level 6)/ Degree (NQF level 7) in Human Resources Management/Labour Law/ Labour Relations/Industrial Psychology. A minimum of 1 year experience in Labour Relations environment. A valid driver’s license.

Duties :

  • Provide assistance with the capturing and verification of data of all rights disputes on the Case Management System (CMS). Handle queries related to referral forms received from clients. Update the registration file daily. Compile monthly statistics/reports. Distribute arbitration awards, rulings, outcome certificates and settlement agreements to the applicant and respondent. Arrange and book venues for arbitrations and conciliations. Schedule cases for conciliation and arbitration. Serve parties with sufficient notices for hearings. Process outcomes of the hearings on the CMS System. Update the database of all cases referred to the Council on a daily basis. Close finalised cases on the CMS. Follow up on the outcomes of panellists for outcome reports. Attend to the general administration of cases. Maintain an efficient filing system, including arbitration awards, rulings, outcome reports, outcome certificates and settlement agreement. Assist with gathering all relevant information in drafting quarterly and annual reports for the Department.
